Ordering and Deliveries
Most of our ordering is done online and is available 24/7. Orders can also be placed over the phone through our office, which is open Monday – Friday from 9am-5pm
We deliver statewide! Delivery is free to the metro areas of DFW, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and the spaces in between. For far West or East Texas and the Panhandle, there may be a delivery fee added.
Delivery times may vary but they are usually 2 to 4 days from order. During peak times (cold spells, holidays, etc.) delivery times may be as long as 1 to 2 weeks. We are unable to deliver a newly placed order ahead of those that have been waiting.
We do our best to accommodate all of our customers. If there is a specific day or time that you need us to deliver, please give us a call or send us an email. During the busy season of October – March, this may not be possible due to the large amount of orders we receive.
We made the decision to close our retail lot to focus on delivery. If you have a special need or request, please reach out!
We take payment through the computer or over the phone at time of ordering. Due to this, we only accept credit or debit card payments.
All delivery costs are included in the cost of the wood except possible long distance charges. Applicable sales tax will be added at checkout.
Our firewood is split and cut to the industry standard length of 15 to 18 inches. This allows volumes to be measured consistently & ensures each piece fits correctly in stoves and on firewood racks. However, we also have a custom Stove Cut that is 12 inches long.
Texas Oak is any native oak tree that is not Post Oak. You will receive all of one species, typically Live oak, White oak, or Red oak.
We sell naturally seasoned post oak, mesquite, and pecan. We also have specialty woods such as hickory, piñon, and apple. Our post oak is our most popular type of firewood. Due to demand, we may be out of stock of our specialty woods at certain times. Please call to inquire about our current stock.
